Update -
If you have a multi-platform probe set up with your PRTG Hosted Monitor instance, the rollout of PRTG version 26.1.118 will bring the following changes:
The multi-platform probe and NATS settings will be available as a dedicated section in the main menu on app.my-prtg.com (they are no longer located under "Manage subscription").
New NATS credentials for your multi-platform probes must be created using NKeys, which is the new and more secure authentication method.
These changes will be reflected in our Knowledge Base article immediately after the rollout.
Please note:
Your existing multi-platform probe and NATS setup will continue to work after this rollout without any immediate action required on your part. - We recommend starting to plan the migration of your existing NATS users - currently username and password based - to the new NKey-based authentication.
There is no fixed deprecation date for the existing authentication method yet. Any breaking change in this regard will be communicated separately and in advance to all affected PRTG Hosted Monitor customers.
